We built a mobile ordering app to help a restaurant take direct food orders, reduce phone-based ordering, and make order handling easier for both customers and staff.
A restaurant wanted to offer its customers a simple way to order food directly from their mobile phones. While many customers preferred ordering online, the restaurant did not have its own digital ordering system and relied mostly on phone calls and manual order management.
To improve convenience for customers and streamline order handling for staff, a mobile food ordering application was developed. The app allows customers to browse the menu, place orders, and receive order updates directly from their phones.
The restaurant faced several common challenges in managing food orders:
We developed a mobile food ordering application that allows customers to place orders directly from their smartphones.
The application provides a simple interface where users can explore the menu, select items, and submit their orders digitally. Restaurant staff receive the orders through an administrative dashboard where they can manage incoming requests and update order status.
This system helps streamline the entire ordering process while improving the customer experience.
React Native
Node.js API
PostgreSQL
AWS cloud services
Push notifications and SMS alerts
The application was designed with a focus on simplicity and speed. The goal was to make the ordering process quick for customers while keeping the order management system straightforward for restaurant staff.
The architecture allows the restaurant to manage menu updates and incoming orders efficiently without relying on complex systems.
The mobile application provided the restaurant with a structured digital ordering process.
